Overview

Career Insights operates an e-learning and eWorkexperience environment designed to connect professional training with practical work on digital projects. Candidates can learn remotely, collaborate with others, receive mentoring, and apply new skills in project-based workflows rather than limiting the experience to lectures and theoretical assessments.

DigitalTouch delivered digital work associated with Career Insights and the eWorkexperience platform. The engagement supported a product concept in which learning, project participation, communication, and performance visibility come together in one online environment.

Learning by participating in real project workflows

Traditional online learning often separates education from experience. A learner watches a lesson, completes a quiz, and receives a certificate, but may still have little understanding of how the work is performed inside a team.

Career Insights approached the problem differently. Its eWorkexperience model was designed around hands-on participation in live digital projects, giving candidates a remote environment in which to apply methods, tools, and professional behaviours.

The platform brought together several parts of that experience:

  • structured e-learning and e-training;
  • practical work on digital projects;
  • remote collaboration with other participants;
  • mentor and facilitator support;
  • instant communication and messaging;
  • KPI and progress visibility;
  • access from desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.

This creates a bridge between understanding a discipline and experiencing how its responsibilities fit into a wider delivery process.

More than a course catalogue

Career Insights was not conceived as a library of recorded lessons. The eWorkexperience platform needed to behave as a working environment where learning content connects with assignments, communication, project roles, and visible progress.

That distinction changes the product architecture. A conventional learning platform can focus primarily on content consumption and completion. A work-experience environment must also represent participation:

  • what a candidate is working on;
  • how the work contributes to a live project;
  • where communication takes place;
  • how mentors provide direction;
  • how activity and progress are observed;
  • how different participants collaborate remotely.

The platform therefore combines characteristics of an LMS, collaboration workspace, project environment, and mentoring system.

Professional disciplines and practical context

Career Insights has delivered hands-on training across areas including digital and Agile project management, business analysis, product ownership, Scrum, data analysis, business intelligence, data science, digital marketing, cybersecurity, and digital transformation.

The value of the platform model is that these subjects are not treated as isolated academic topics. Project managers, analysts, product specialists, and technical participants need to understand how their work connects with other roles, delivery constraints, communication, and changing project information.

A shared digital environment can expose candidates to that context. Instead of completing an exercise with one predetermined answer, learners participate in workflows closer to the ambiguity and collaboration found in professional work.

The project page does not claim that every current Career Insights programme or discipline was part of DigitalTouch’s historical engagement. These areas describe the broader eWorkexperience model presented by Career Insights.

Remote collaboration as part of the curriculum

Remote access is not only a delivery convenience in this type of product; it is part of the experience being learned. Candidates need to communicate clearly, coordinate activity, understand shared project state, and contribute without occupying the same physical workspace.

The platform combines project participation with communication and mentoring so that remote collaboration is built into the workflow rather than handled as an unrelated external activity.

Messaging supports immediate coordination. Mentor access provides guidance when candidates encounter unfamiliar decisions. Progress and KPI visibility give participants a clearer understanding of expectations and contribution.

Together, these elements turn remote learning into an environment with responsibilities, dependencies, and feedback loops.

Multi-device access to an ongoing experience

Historical Career Insights materials describe the eWorkexperience platform as accessible from desktop, tablet, and mobile. This matters because project-based learning is continuous: candidates may need to review material, communicate, check progress, or respond to activity from different contexts.

A multi-device product must preserve more than visual responsiveness. The user needs to understand the same project state and continue the same journey regardless of screen size. Navigation, communication, learning material, and progress information must remain recognizable across devices.

The platform’s digital nature also makes work experience accessible beyond a single training location. Candidates can participate from home, while travelling, or alongside other responsibilities, provided they can connect to the project environment.

Product complexity behind eWorkexperience

Combining education and project participation introduces a broad set of product concerns:

  • candidate identity and access;
  • roles and permissions within learning or project groups;
  • structured training material;
  • project tasks and workflow visibility;
  • collaboration and instant communication;
  • mentor involvement and feedback;
  • activity, KPI, and progress tracking;
  • continuity across desktop, tablet, and mobile;
  • an interface understandable to candidates entering a new profession.

These systems must reinforce one another. Training should prepare the candidate for project activity. Project work should reveal where more learning is needed. Mentoring should connect with the candidate’s current context. Progress information should make expectations clearer rather than becoming an abstract score.

The strongest aspect of the product is this relationship between learning and doing.

DigitalTouch’s contribution

DigitalTouch delivered digital work for Career Insights associated with the CareerInsights.tv and eWorkexperience platform ecosystem. The available project record confirms the engagement but does not fully document every implementation boundary or technology used, so this case intentionally avoids attributing unsupported platform components or stack details.

The work demonstrates DigitalTouch’s experience with products that go beyond a public website. Career Insights required a digital environment supporting continuing participation, content, collaboration, mentoring, and project-oriented user journeys.

This engagement is separate from Bank My Pals, another project delivered for Career Insights. Bank My Pals has its own product scope and case-study page.

Current platform

Career Insights continues to operate at CareerInsights.tv. The public URL currently leads to a platform login, and the service may have evolved since DigitalTouch’s historical involvement.

The challenge

Career education often teaches concepts without giving candidates a realistic environment in which to apply them. Career Insights needed a platform that could connect e-learning with practical project work, remote collaboration, mentor support, performance visibility, and access across desktop, tablet, and mobile — not simply publish course videos or marketing pages.

What DigitalTouch built

DigitalTouch delivered digital work associated with Career Insights and the eWorkexperience platform. The experience supported structured training and remote participation in live digital projects, bringing together learning materials, collaborative workflows, mentoring, messaging, and progress or KPI visibility for candidates developing practical skills in digital project management, business analysis, data, and related disciplines.

Technical approach

The platform was organized around role-based learning and project workflows rather than a conventional course catalogue. Candidates needed to move between training content, assigned project activity, collaboration, communication, mentoring, and progress tracking from different devices. Available historical materials do not establish the complete implementation stack, so no unsupported technology claims are made here.
